BUDDING entrepreneurs are being encouraged to attend a new national pilot scheme.
The scheme has been organised as part of a free Link Up, Start Up event.
Kevin Barnes and Richard Bailey, from the Tendring Enterprise Agency, will host an informal presentation and networking event with support from businesses.
Agency chairman Mr Bailey said: “This is providing an opportunity for local people looking to self-employment as the way forward.
“We are expecting a good representation from local businesses and they will be providing guidance at the event.”
Tendring Council leader Mick Page urged anyone looking to set up a business or wanting a career change to go along.
“This really is a great chance to pick up some top tips from some of the people who have been there and done it in Tendring,” he said.
“If you’ve got an idea test it out with the experts and you may also find someone who can help you on the way.”
The event is on December 17 from 3pm to 6pm at Community Voluntary Services Tendring in Rosemary Road, Clacton Places will be available on a first come, first served basis. For details call Donna Lehain on 01255 686377.
