STAFF at an opticians in Clacton spent a week raising cash to boost guide dogs.
Specsavers in Station Road went all out to support the Guide Dogs charity, selling cakes and badges, as well as launching competitions for customers.
The Specsavers store was also decked out with pooch-themed decorations, including balloons and banners, to raise awareness of the cause.
Store director Lee Holcombe said: “We have really enjoyed supporting the dog charity again this year.
“It’s been great to see our customers getting involved and helping us to raise money for the charity.
“It is easy to forget the vital work that the charity does for the blind and visually impaired so this week has also been a great opportunity to remind people and celebrate their incredible efforts.”
Proceeds from the charity push will now be handed over to the Guide Dogs charity. They are still totting up the final total.
