VILLAGERS have come out in force to protest against plans to expand their village by a quarter.
Developer Taylor Wimpeywill unveil proposals to build 145 homes on land off Cockaynes Lane, Alresford, at a public meeting next week.
With a further 50 homes already earmarked for land off St Andrews Close, residents fear the proposed building boom is too much for a village with just over 800 houses and flats.
