CLACTON’S 19th annual real ale festival is underway with more than 65 different beers and ciders.
The four-day event, which got underway yesterday, also includes perries, wines and foreign tipples.
The CAMRA-run festival is taking place at St James’ Hall, Tower Road.
Entertainment includes The Ringtones tonight from 8pm, Priory Morris Dancers on Friday evening, as well as the Blackwater Jazz Band and Broken Watch on Saturday.
There are also be five new beers available after 5pm on Saturday, as well as free soft drinks for drivers.
