A FAMILY fun day proved a real knockout for Clacton Cricket Club.
The club hosted the It’s A Knockout Challenge for the second year running on Sunday, when ten teams of up to ten people went head-tohead at the sports pavilion on Vista Road.
They took part in inflatable obstacle course races and other slapstick games associated with the hit television programme.
The winners were Holland FC’s under-14s team, which beat a Clacton Cricket Club first team.
Cricket club vice-chairman Gary Kirk said: “It was brilliant. It was a real community and family fun day.”
The day raised more than £3,000, which will be matchfunded by Barclays bank.
