A MUM has thanked the Gazette after her son was reunited with his late dad’s watch.
Charlie Vickers, 12, from Braintree, was left distraught after losing the silver Rotary watch close to Martello Bay two weeks ago.
His father died of cancer in November and the watch had huge sentimental value.
Mum Kerry appealed for help tracing the watch through the Gazette. A reader then contacted her to say he had found it.
She said: “It is a huge relief and we are just delighted. It means so much to Charlie. We just want to say thank you.”
