A CROWD-PULLING panto has signed up for another three year’s at Clacton’s Princes Theatre.
More than 12,000 festive fans poured through the doors to see Peter Pan starring TV’s Jeff Brazier over Christmas.
The production was Polka Dot Pantomimes’ third year at the Princes.
Now the group has signed on the dotted line for another three years.
Peter Pan was the council-run venue’s biggest ever selling single production with box office sales up 40 per cent on the previous year.
Acting Tendring Council leader Paul Honeywood said: “They are a company whose reputation in Clacton has been enhanced year on year.
“When you are fortunate enough to find a successful formula which fills a large theatre like the Princes performance after performance you don’t want to have to change it.
“We thoroughly enjoy working in partnership with Polka Dot – and believe that is the same for them.
“They are an extremely professional outfit who have worked out what goes down well at the Princes.”
Next Christmas’s panto will be Jack and the Beanstalk.
