A PEDESTRIAN suffered a serious arm injury when he was hit by a motorbike in Clacton.
The victim, a 44 year-old man from Clacton, was struck by a black Yamaha motorcycle on St Osyth Road.
He is thought to have suffered a broken arm in the collision. The man was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
The bike’s rider was a 21 year-old man, also from Clacton. He was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, which happened just before 6pm on Tuesday December 17.
Sections of St Osyth Road and the nearby Ford Road were closed off by officers for more than an hour while they carried out investigations at the scene.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
