A WOMAN had to be cut free from her car after a crash in Weeley this morning.
The accident happened in Thorpe Road just before 8.30am.
Firefighters used specialist cutting gear to free the woman who was trapped in the vehicle for more than half an hour.
The extent of her injuries are not known but she was assisted at the scene by the ambulance service.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
Firefighters from Weeley and Clacton went to the incident.
