AMBULANCE crews are warning motorists to slow down following four collisions across the county.
Crews were called to St John’s Road, Clacton, shortly after 7.40am, after a car collided with a wall.
A man was assessed by paramedics and did not require hospital treatment.
The East of England Ambulance Service said people should drive carefully and stay safe as the weather conditions this morning are causing problems throughout the region on the roads.
Ambulaance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “We are asking anyone who is driving to watch their speed and allow plenty of time for breaking.
“The rain is continuing to fall and the spray on the roads reduces the visibility greatly.”
The poor weather also led to collisions in Southend, Brentwood and Ingatestone this morning.
