Love Island winner Jack Fincham, former snooker player Willie Thorne and Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Marquez will strip off on TV to raise awareness of cancer.

They are among a raft of celebrities taking part in ITV’s The All New Monty: Who Bares Wins, a follow on from last year’s The Real Full Monty.

The show sees male and female stars in two separate programmes take to the stage to bare all, learning dance routines and stripteases to demonstrate the importance of shedding body inhibitions and making checks in intimate areas to prevent cancer.

Joining Fincham, Thorne and Marquez in the men’s version will be Emmerdale star Kevin Fletcher, comedian Joe Pasquale, Crimewatch host Rav Wilding, Dancing On Ice skater Matt Evers and footballer Jason Cundy.

They will be led by Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo and Pointless host Alexander Armstrong, who have taken part since the show debuted in 2017.

Banjo said: “It’s such a privilege to be able to be a part of this fantastic series. This show has been a life-changing experience for me and hopefully for many other men around the country who have been checked or had conversations about cancer that they wouldn’t have had otherwise.

“Every year I plan something I hope will be better than the last, but this time Xander and I really have gone full-out to make this the biggest and best yet!”

Armstrong added: “I am proud to be a part of such a great cause alongside Ashley and I am looking forward to being involved in another fantastic show. With this year’s group of lads we will be looking to raise the bar and ensure it’s a night no one will forget!”

The stars hope to build on the impact of last year’s show to keep important health messages about regular checks for testicular and prostate cancer at the forefront of the nation’s minds.

The stars taking part in the women’s version of the show will be announced in due course, ITV said.

The women’s show, which won the Broadcast Award for best popular factual programme of 2018, will be fronted by returning stars Victoria Derbyshire and Coleen Nolan.

They will encourage women to check their breasts, to attend cervical smear appointments and be more aware of their health.

ITV factual commissioner Kate Teckman said: “ITV are so proud to announce our annual spectacular to remind us all to keep checking ourselves and those we love.

“As we raise more awareness about cancer than ever before, this year’s cast are being pushed to the limit, so expect plenty of boobs and cock ups, but whatever happens we will have a ball.”
