Actresses Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders added a touch of fabulous to the annual Pride march in London.
Dressed as their characters Patsy and Edina, they posed up a storm during a photo call to promote the upcoming Absolutely Fabulous film.
Earlier in the week Joanna admitted she and Jennifer did not “hit it off” immediately.
She spoke about the awkwardness of the first script read through with Jennifer for the show’s pilot.
The BBC sitcom was first broadcast in 1992, introducing viewers to Saunders’ PR character, Edina Monsoon, and her boozy magazine editor friend, Patsy.
Joanna told Graham Norton: “It was very awkward at the read through. It was just the two of us and she just stared at me. I told my agent I didn’t want to do it and she said, ‘It’s just a pilot, just do it…’”.
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie will be released on July 1 and features a number of big-name celebrity cameos from the likes of model Kate Moss and Mad Men’s Jon Hamm.
