You may have brushed Lionel Richie off as a washed-up musician but you would be wrong judging by the crowds at Glastonbury Festival.
The 66-year-old star stepped on the Pyramid Stage to perform some of his best hits, including Dancing On The Ceiling, All Night Long and We Are The World, and yep, he’s definitely still got it.
Despite being crammed together like canned sardines, the crowds were captivated by the singing sensation – at one point, during his performance, Lionel barely even sung a note as the crowd chanted their way though Hello.
The amazing set led many to suggest, dare we repeat it, Lionel completely slayed last night’s controversial closing act Mr Kanye West and probably should’ve even bagged that headlining spot himself.
