Marco Pierre White's memoir looks set to be adapted for the big screen.
Rights to the star's book The Devil In The Kitchen: Sex, Pain, Madness And The Making Of A Great Chef have been picked up by filmmaker Ridley Scott, reported Deadline.
Ridley has teamed up with Giannina Facio and Colet Abedi to option the tale, and wants to make a film about Marco.
The memoir tells of the chef's tumultuous childhood and his rise to fame.
Ridley currently has several projects in the pipeline including The Martian, which will star Matt Damon, and the Prometheus sequel.
He is also planning to make a film based on the story of David and Goliath.
