Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Extinguishment Order 2019 Footpath 141 Braintree And Bocking

The above order, made on 3 May 2019, under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish the entire length of Footpath 141 Braintree and Bocking of unknown width commencing from the junction with Roman Road running in first a west, north westerly then south westerly direction for a total distance of 147 metres to where it connects to Footpath 73.

A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree, Essex, CM7 9HB and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 20 June 2019. Please specify which order they relate to and state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If an Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.

(Footpath 53, Silver End) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 53, Silver End in the District of Braintree, at its junction with Western Road opposite property No.37 Western Road.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 28 May 2019 for 7 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electrical works are undertaken by UKPN.

(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.8) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule to this Order.



2. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. . The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Braintree Road, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Braintree Road, Felsted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 500m east of its junction with Chelmsford Road, for a distance of approximately 55m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th May 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034812808 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electricity supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Felsted Bypass, Braintree Road, Dunmow Road, Dunmow Bypass, Chelmsford Road, A120 J A130/b1256 Join E, Great Dunmow Bypass, Main Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Fairstead Lodge Road, Fairstead & Fuller Street, Fairstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Fairstead Lodge Road, Fairstead in the City of Chelmsford, from both of its junctions with Fuller Street for a distance of approximately 400m in a northerly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Fuller Street, Fairstead in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 700m southeast of its junction with Boreham Road for a distance of approximately 280m in a southeasterly direction.



The closures are scheduled to commence on 12th June 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034814609/EC30034814608 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Boreham Road, Mill Lane, Ranks Green Road, Fairstead Road, Fairstead Hall Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th May 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rose Hill, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rose Hill, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 45m south of its junction with The Yard a distance of approximately 25m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st June 2019 for 2 days and again on 8th June 2019 for 2 days (two weekends only), or where stated on a valid permit (KL721BRA-18-12-010619 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of loose bolts and install new timber decking works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Rose Hill, South Street, Notley Road, Masefield Road, Challis Lane, Skitts Hill, Mill Hill and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th May 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
