AMENDED DETAILS Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (As Amended) Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 (As Amended) Notice under Article 15 Town & Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received a planning application from Tarmac Aggregates Limited for Extraction of 4.0 million tonnes of sand and gravel as an easterly extension to the existing Wivenhoe Quarry, erection of sand and gravel processing plant and ancillary facilities, new vehicular access onto the B1027 Brightlingsea Road, and restoration to agriculture and low-level water-based nature conservation habitats, lowland meadow, woodland planting and hedgerow enhancement using approximately 1.2 million cubic metres of imported inert waste material at Land to the South of Colchester Main Road (known as Sunnymead, Elmstead and Heath Farms), Alresford, Essex, C07 8DB - ESS/17/18/TEN.

The proposal may affect the setting of The Old Bottle and Glass, the Milestone on Western Verge, Grove Farm, Keelars Farmstead, Keelars Farmhouse, Tenpenny Farmhouse, Fen Farmhouse, all Grade II Listed Buildings; the Remains of St Peter's Church, a Scheduled Monument; and Wivenhoe Park and Garden, a Grade II Registered Park and Garden.

The proposed development may not accord with the provisions of the Essex Minerals Local Plan Adopted July 2014; and Essex and Southend Waste Local Plan Adopted July 2017; in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated. Footpath 24 Elmstead, 19 Elmstead, 16 Elmstead, 20 Alresford, 2 Alresford and 14 Wivenhoe may be affected by the proposal. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Yorick Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Kingsland Road, a distance of approximately 510m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2253986 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Kingsland Road, Barfield Road, High Street and vice versa.

(Fox Street, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fox Street, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Crown Lane South for a distance of approximately 150m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2018 for 4 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (FN50638892 -Highways England). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing and bridge repair works are undertaken by Highways England.

(Landermere Road, Thorpe Le Soken) (Temporary Introduction of 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30 mph speed limit in Landermere Road, Thorpe Le Soken in the District of Tendring from its junction with Lonsdale Road for a distance of approximately 515m in a northeasterly direction. The speed limit reduction is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2018 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231002284 - Barconn). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The speed limit reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction of permanent access for residential development works are undertaken by Barconn.

(Queen Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (High Street, St Botolphs Street and Priory Street, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of One-Way) & (Priory Street, Colchester) (Introduction of a One Way) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Culver Street East for a distance of approximately 80m in a southerly direction.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Birch Road, Copford in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Boarded Barn Road, a distance of approximately 738m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2253753 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Rectory Road, Boarded Barn Road and vice versa.
