Notice of Making of an Order (Other than an Acquisition Extinguishment Order)
Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Orders 2018 Footpaths 12,14,15, 31, 32 Wix
The above orders made on 20 April 2018, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, as shown on the order maps will divert:
1) A part length of Footpath 12 Wix commencing from a point on the headland 152 metres south of Colchester Road heading across an arable field in a south west then south east then south south west direction for 482 metres to reach a point at the north western corner of a boundary fence where it continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point where it continues along the headland in a south easterly direction crossing the parish boundary into Great Oakley for 500 metres to a point in the south east corner of the field continuing in a generally westerly direction along the headland for a final distance of 208 metres to the aforementioned end point.

2) A part length of Footpath 14 Wix commencing from a point on the headland 176 metres south of Colchester Road heading across an arable field in a south easterly direction for 139 metres to where it meets the headland and continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running along the headland in a generally easterly direction for 94 metres to a point in the north east corner of the field where it continues along the headland in a generally southerly direction for a final distance of 105 metres to the aforementioned end point.

3) The entire length of Footpath 31 Wix commencing from a point on the headland 117 metres south of Colchester Road where it connects to Footpath 32 Wix heading across an arable field in a south westerly direction for 585 metres to reach a point at the western extent of the footpath then continues in a south south easterly direction for a final distance of 154 metres to meet the headland at a point where it connects to the publicly maintained carriageway known as Stones Green Road, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing at a point 240 metres west of the aforementioned start point running along a crop boundary in a generally southerly direction for a distance of 642 metres to a point north of Stones Green Road where it continues along the headland in a generally easterly direction for a final distance of 34 metres to the aforementioned end point.

4) A part length of Footpath 15 Wix commencing from a point located on the southern boundary of Hempstall's Farm where it is obstructed by an outbuilding heading in a north westerly direction for 54 metres across a hard standing to where it connects to Footpath 32 Wix before continuing in a west south westerly direction for a final distance of 46 metres along a driveway to a point 7 metres east of the junction with Footpath 37 Wix where it continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing at the aforementioned start point heading along the headland in a generally westerly then north westerly direction for a total distance of 98 metres to the aforementioned end point.

5) A part length of Footpath 32 Wix commencing from a point on the eastern side of Hempstall's Farm heading in a south westerly direction for a total distance of approximately 149 metres through the centre of the farm along an access drive to the aforementioned connection with Footpath 15 Wix, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running first across a field in a north north westerly direction then in a west south westerly direction along a headland before continuing in this direction along a grass strip by the side of the farm access drive for a total distance of 268 metres meeting the farm access drive where it connects to Footpath 15 Wix. A copy of the Orders and the Order maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. Any representations about or objections to the orders may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service,

Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 7 June 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed orders. If the Orders are sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Orders. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.

Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Order 2018 Footpath 13 Bradfield
The above order, made on 20 April 2018, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the entire length of Footpath 13 Bradfield of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map commencing from a point south of Ellis Road and west of Cansey Lane running in a generally north westerly then northerly then north easterly and finally south easterly direction within the garden boundaries of properties at the junction of Cansey Lane and Ellis Road and properties along Ellis Road for 211 metres to reach a point at the junction of Ellis Road and the public highway known as Barrack Street, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from where Ellis Road joins Cansey Lane running in a north westerly then a generally northerly direction along the private road known as Ellis Road for a total distance of 144 metres to the aforementioned end point.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. (Dead Lane, Lawford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dead Lane, Lawford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 225m east of its junction with Bromley Road for a distance of approximately 81m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th May 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000688217 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas service works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
An alternative route is available via Clacton Road, Long Road, Coxs Hill, Bromley Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 4th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
