Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation)(Amendment No.55 Part 2) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To revoke all current No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions in place and replace with no waiting and no loading at any time on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring.

2. To revoke all current No Waiting At Any time 1 May-30 September and replace with No Waiting At Any time 1 July-31 August on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring.

Road Description
Promenade Way North side 28.0 metres east from the north east facing boundary wall Brightlingsea of the Cafe to a point 10.0 metres south west from the junction with Colne Road/Lower Park Road. South side 28.0 metres east from the north east facing boundary wall of the Cafe for a distance of 75.3 metres north east. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers TM075 160 to revision 2, TM075 162 to revision 2, TM080 162 to revision 4, and by inserting tile number TM080 165.

Date of operation:
The Order will come into operation on 16th June 2017.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose. (Various Roads, Tendring District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.4) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in Schedule 1.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force. "The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 08/06/17, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
