Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003) Notice of application for a full licence to abstract (take) water Stebbing and Sons Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence. The Environment Agency Is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section of the Water Resources Act
and Regulation of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations
The application Is for a full licence to abstract water from the Weeley Brook at Grove Farm, Little Clacton, Essex, at National Grid Reference TM1738919522
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 40 cubic metres an hour
- 283 cubic metres a day
- 43,000 cubic metres a year - between 1 November and 31 March inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for filling a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation.
