(Plough Road, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plough Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 65m southeast of its junction with Morella Close for a distance of approximately 45m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence at 23:59 2/10/2020 - 06:00 5/10/2020 (Continuously) followed by 5/10/2020 - 9/10/2020 closed between 23:59 and 06:00 (Overnight only), from 23:59 9/10/2020 - 06:0012/10/2020 (Continuously), then 23:59-06:00 between 12/10/2020 & 16/10/2020 (Overnight only), from 23:5916/10/2020 - 06:00 19/10/2020 (Continuously), 19/10/2020 - 23/10/2020 between 23:59 and 06:00 (Overnight only) and finally 23:59 24/10/2020 to 06:00 26/10/2020 (Continuously), or where stated on a valid permit (KL731COC-60-62-021020SM - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track renewal works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Holly Bush Hill, Flag Hill, Colchester Road, Bypass Road, Clacton Road, St Johns Road, St Johns Roundabout, Little Clacton Bypass, Bovills Roundabout, Bovills Way, Little Clacton Weeley Bypass, Rectory Road, Colchester Road Roundabout, Shair Lane, The Tye Road, Weeley Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 17th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
