(Broman’s Lane) (Temporary Stopping) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make a temporary Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To temporarily replace current double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) with double red lines (No Stopping At Any Time) on Broman’s Lane, from its junction with East Road to its junction with the access road to the country park in the Borough of Colchester. Nothing in the Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer. Nothing in the Order shall apply to any emergency vehicles. The Order is proposed come into operation on 29/06/2020 to remain in force for a period of up to 18 months. (Footpath 34, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 34, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from the Sewage Treatment works counterwall, north west for a distance of approximately 900 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 01/07/2020 to 01/12/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Maintenance to the tidal facing area of the defence embankment and improvements works to the crest of the tidal defence wall are undertaken. The footpath will be diverted from the crest of the tidal defence to the landward folding for the extent of the works and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 01/07/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Coach Road, Great Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coach Road, Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Old House Road to its junction with Nayland Road, a distance of approximately 1535m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 03/07/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2295975 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Dale Hill, Thorpe-le-Soken) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dale Hill, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 205m northwest of the junction with Walton Road/Sneating Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 145m in a northwesterly direction. Effect of the order: 1. To temporarily close that length of Firs Chase/The Lane, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Coast Road to the junction with Firs Road a distance of approximately 450m. 2. Effect of the order: 1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in schedule 1 to this Order. 2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads and those in schedule 2 for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works.
