(East Street, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 25m north of its junction with Manor Street for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/02/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010583994 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water An alternative route is available via Coggeshall Road, Railway Street, Trinovantian Way, Manor Street and vice versa

The Order will come into effect on 09/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
