(Footpath 7, East Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 7, East Mersea, in Borough of Colchester, for its entire length between its junctions with Footpath 4, East Mersea to its junction with Footpath 1 East Mersea. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 June 2019 for 5 months or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to construct the embankment for the new boating lake is undertaken The alternative route will be via Footpath 10, East Mersea, Footpath 4, East Mersea, Footpath 5, East Mersea and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2019 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Byway 47, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019

Further to a notices: Under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 16 May 2019. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Byway 47, Dedham in the Borough of Colchester, from the start of the byway at the northern end of Monks Lane South to the end of the byway at the southern end of Monks Lane North.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 6 June 2019 for 6 months, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public due to the collapse of the culvert. The alternative route will be via Monks Lane South, B1029 Grove Hill, Coles Oak Lane, Monks Lane North and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 6 June 2019 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Path Diversion Order 2019 Footpath 8 Layer Breton and 14 Layer Marney In the Borough of Colchester

The above Orders made on 10th May, 2019 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Public Footpath 8 at Layer Breton and a part length of Public Footpath 14 at Layer Marney and in the Colchester Borough as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders. The effect of the Orders will be to: A part length of Footpath 8 Layer Breton commencing from grid reference 59427,21821 south of Shatters Road and running in a south westerly direction across three fields for a distance of 194 metres to grid reference 594219,21803 to the east of Lower Road will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above starting point and running in a south south easterly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 106 metres to grid reference 59431,21811 then continuing in a south westerly then north westerly and finally south westerly direction along the southern field boundary for a further distance of 160 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

A part length of Footpath 14 Layer Marney commencing from grid reference 59241,21786 where it commences at Woodview Road and running in a south south easterly direction across the field for a distance of 81 metres to grid reference 59244,21779 then continuing in an easterly direction across the field for a distance of 108 metres to grid reference 59255,21781 and finally in a south easterly direction across the field and then a south south easterly direction through the wood for a distance of 304 metres to grid reference 59269,21754 will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above starting point and running in a generally south easterly direction across the field for a distance of 280 metres to the footbridge at grid reference 59260,21766 then continuing in a generally south easterly direction on the west side of the wood for a distance of 147 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Colchester Library and at the County Hall Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the County Hall at a charge. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent in writing addressed to Laurence Page, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, County Hall, A2 Seax House, Market Road, Chelmsford CM1 1QH no later than 27th June 2019 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Please include an email address for a prompt response.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order.

Notice of Public Path Order Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Sections 257 & 261 Essex County Council Temporary Diversion to Allow Mineral Extraction In Accordance With Planning Application No. Ess/53/17/Ten Dated 20.09.18 - Order 2019 Footpath 8 Ardleigh In the District Of Tendring

The above order was made on 15 May 2019. The effect of the Order as shown on the Order map will be to temporarily divert until 30 June 2033 a section of Footpath 8 commencing at a point where the footpath crosses Footpath 39 Ardleigh running in a generally southerly direction through the quarry site for a distance of 246 metres to a point where it connects to Slough Lane, to an alternative route being 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned end point running in a generally north easterly direction between the hedgerow fronting Slough Lane and the quarry site boundary fence for a distance of 269 metres to where it connects to Footpath 39 Ardleigh. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH no later than 27 June 2019. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. (Mersea Road, Colchester) (Temporary Introduction of 30 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30 MPH Speed Limit on that length of Mersea Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Holt Drive for a distance of approximately 300m in a southerly direction (current speed limit is 40 mph). The speed limit reduction is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2019 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2267169A - Essex County Council). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Little Bromley Road, Ardleigh & Ardleigh Road, Ardleigh & Ardleigh Road, Little Bromley in the District of Tendring, from Waterhouse Lane for a distance of approximately 750m in a southeasterly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Grange Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Little Bromley Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a northerly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Heath Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Christine Chase to its junction with Cherry Row, a distance of approximately 55m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010551033 - Anglian Water).
