Gordon Philip Weeks FLAUNTYBorn 19.10.1916 Ex RAF (1940 – 1946), Ex-Councillor, shopkeeper, builder and publican of the Mermaid Inn, a Trustee of Golf Green Hall and proud resident of Jaywick for most of his life.At 100 years old celebrating a wonderful life with thanks to everyone who helped him along the way. Thanks to: All family and friends. Everyone who helped to run his businesses over the years. Dr Kingsley Osei-Tutu and all at St James Surgery with very special thanks to Dr Michael Mann. The Local District Nurses, Colchester Hospital and especially Mr Wael Awad and the Cardiac Team at St Bartholomews Hospital, London. Sylvia Hobbs and fellow Trustees as well as all the many hard working volunteers involved at Golf Green Hall, Jaywick who have made the Hall a superb community amenity. And not forgetting Lady Luck. Congratulations and love from all the Family. A collection is being made for Essex Air Ambulance and St Helena Hospice. 100
