Clacton: Woman trapped after two-car smash

A WOMAN had to be cut free from a car after it was in collision with a taxi.

The smash happened in St Osyth Road, Clacton, around 10.30am today.

The woman, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Colchester General Hospital.

It is not yet known how serious her injuries are.

No one else is understood to have been injured.

Thanks for the photos Taffy, I hope the woman and taxi driver are not that badly injured.It is a miracle that no pedestrians were not on that corner, as it very busy at times with the cash point very close.
