Essex: Charity seeks ambassadors to help families

A charity is recruiting ambassadors to ensure disabled children and their families get the support they need.
Newlife Foundation wants to help families of disabled and terminally ill children struggling to cope with cuts to services and the rising cost of living.
Calls to the charity’s national helpline have more than doubled in the last year.
The foundation is seeking volunteers to help fundraising and boosting the profile of the charity.
So far, Newlife has provided 98 families in Essex with equipment grants totalling over £130,000.
