INTELLIGENCE gathered by undercover cops was behind the multiple drugs raids carried out in north Essex last week.

Ten adults and one youth appeared in court on Friday charged with a total of 45 counts of supplying class A drugs, including crack cocaine and heroin.

Emma Dmitriev prosecuting, revealed how all of the accused were targeted in raids after allegedly being caught on hidden camera supplying drugs to undercover police officers, dating as far back as August.

• Danny Wright, 20, from Coopers Lane, Clacton - charged with 15 counts of supplying class A drugs • Barry Coggin, 41, from Aragon Close, Jaywick - charged with seven counts of supplying class A drugs • David Barr, 18, from Coopers Lane, Clacton - charged with six counts of supplying class A drugs • Christopher Wakefield, 27, from East Stockwell Street, Colchester - charged with one count of supplying class A drugs • Harun Khaire, 22, from Shepherds Bush, West London - charged with two counts of supplying class A drugs and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs • Joseph Parkes, 26, from Priory Street, Colchester - charged with one count of supplying class A drugs • David Smith, 36, from Links Road, Clacton - charged with two counts of supplying class A drugs • Natalie Archer, 48, from Parsons Field, Dedham - charged with two counts of supplying class A drugs • Dwaine Anthony, 26, from Hibbert Road, Walthamstow - charged with two counts of supplying class A drugs • Antione Jervier, 27, of Elderfield Road, East London - charged with one count of supplying class A drugs • A 16-year-old man north-west London - charged with six counts of supplying class A drugs and one count of possession of cannabis Full story in Monday's Gazette
