Clacton: Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital

A MOTORCYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital today following a crash in Clacton.
The ambulance service was called to St Johns Road at 10.40am.
A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance, the air ambulance and an officer were sent to the scene.
A woman car driver also suffered minor injuries and was taken by land ambulance to Colchester General Hospital, where the male motorcyclist is.
The man, 44, suffered fractures to his left leg and left wrist, as well as a suspected injury to his pelvis.
He was treated by ambulance crews and the doctor from the air ambulance before being airlifted.
