I NOTE from the voting forms that I've received in respect of the £100k 'Community Chest' initiative that the Walton Forum's bid states categorically that the 'Walton Trail' “Will also protect the Naze from further erosion and return the Walton Mere to its previous state”.

A Song For Childhood.

MY sister and I are able to remember a childhood in the 1930's and I suppose it is inevitable that when we talk, we reminisce. I told my sister how much I treasured a recording of 'Smoke Gets in Your Eyes'.

Jaywick Chuildren Not Deprived

JUST how insulting are people going to continue to be regarding Jaywick residents!! The quote 'children are living in massive deprivation' by one of the two headteachers is such a patronising remark to be made. Deprived! These people have no idea what the word means.

ANOTHER day, another report, another ‘massive facelift’. (Massive Facelift Plans for Town, Gazette, February 4) A lot of cash will likely be allocated to this project, but as in every last effort, the end result will fall far short of everyones expectations.
