Athletes turn out in force for half-marathon

More than 1,000 athletes pulled on their running boots for the second Colchester half-marathon.

The event started and finished at Colchester United's Weston Homes Community Stadium and was held over a new one-lap course through the town centre, along with Langham and Boxted villages.
