THE Constable League’s finals night was held at Foxash Social Club.
Andy Barton (Crown C) became men’s singles champion, winning a thrilling final against his dad, Peter (Skinners Arms A).
Peter opened up with scores of 180 and 140 to take the first leg in 11 darts.
However, Andy replied with two scores of 140 to take the next two legs and the title.
In the semi-finals, Andy beat Kevin Groves (Anchor B) 2-1 and Peter beat last year’s champion, Paul Amoss (Skinners Arms A), 2-0, including a shot-out of 130.
The ladies’ singles title was won by Kim Housham (Hare and Hounds), who beat holder Karen Poulter (Anchor A) 2-1 in a closely-contested final.
