TIPTREE Road Runner Paul Mingay had a good day at the Great Baddow Ten.

He ran a time of 59m 36s for eighth place, a result that ranks in the UK top ten for his age group.

Peter Bouldstridge ran 1h 19m 51s, Tracy Russell made her club debut at the distance in 1h 25m 24s and Dawn Shilling finished in 1h 37m 39s.

Gary Perryman set a personal best of 1h 37m 59s at the East Cambridgeshire half-marathon with Martin Pratley finishing in 2h 27s.

Matt Davey set his second club M35 record in successive weeks, finishing the Woodbridge 10K in 44m 12s.

Anthony Knight had a busy weekend, completing three races.

He ran the Maldon Prom Parkrun on Saturday morning.

In the afternoon, he completed the Nuclear Rush extreme 8K in 1h 35m.

The race involves mud, fences, climbs, slides and other obstacles.

On Sunday, he finished another extreme event, the Insain Terrain Obstacle 10K at Woodbridge in 1h 16m.

Jonathan Finch finished the Maldon Parkrun in 20m 15s, followed by Stuart Meddemmen 23m 48s, Peter Bouldstridge 23m 49s and Ian Linton 28m 27s.

Anthony Knight on the first leg of his treble weekend ran 28m 28s, followed by Fay Wright 29m 7s and Peter Banks 33m 58s.

Simon Morgan ran the Colchester Parkrun in 20m 40s, with Rob Hadgraft finishing in 24m, Abigail Morgan 25m 13s and Sean Pope 29m 3s.

At the Brentwood Parkrun, Jeff Fairfull finished in 29m 36s.

Earlier in the week, Edward Skinner in his last race before a knee operation, ran the Rayles park five mile in 39m 31s and Ian Linton finished the hilly off-road Crown-to-Crown 5K in 29m 42s.
