U's suffer narrow defeat against Swindon

Colchester United's winning run was ended tonight after they were beaten 1-0 by promotion-chasing Swindon Town at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
James Collins' well-taken strike early in the second half proved enough to celebrate the two sides, in a tight encounter.
The closest Colchester came to scoring was just before the half hour when Billy Clifford's long-range strike was palmed over the bar by keeper Wes Fotheringham.
However, U's keeper Sam Walker pulled off a number of fine saves near the end to ensure Colchester's final margin of defeat was not greater.

does anyone else think John White should have been playing the majority of the season!? Plays out of his skin every chance he gets. be great to see that position cemented as his.

There were a number of good performances last night:
Walker, kept us in the game at times, but his goal kicks need to improve.
John White was excellent plus Wilson (who has been poor this season) looked more like the player we first saw when he arrived at Colchester.
Jabo, Sears and Porter did not stop working and run their hearts out last night and on another night we might have got something from the game.
The bad included David Wright, please don’t tell me he did the simple things and had magic touches. He is to slow, did not put a tackle in and as soon as he got the ball got rid of it like a hot potato. We were playing with ten men most of the game as he watched it pass him by. We need someone to pick a pass and hold the ball in midfield and at the moment David Wright is not the answer.
Clifford, can see he is a skilful little player but far too lightweight in midfield. Massey too, to lightweight and not a lot of end product from him.
Saturday would like to see: Walker, White, Eastman, Thompson, Wilson, Porter, Izzet (if fit), Gilbey, Drey Wright, Sears, Jabo.
Up the good old white and blues.
