Colchester United have suffered an injury blow after on-loan winger Sanchez Watt was ruled out for several weeks with a torn hamstring.
The Arsenal loanee suffered the injury in the U’s 3-1 FA Cup defeat at Chelmsford City, last weekend.
Colchester boss Joe Dunne confirmed this morning that the young forward could now return to the Emirates for treatment and may have played his final game for the U's.
Watt joined the U’s on a three-month loan from the Gunners, at the end of September.
Dunne said: “Sanchez has been a credit to us and Arsenal but we could possibly have seen the last of him at Colchester for now.
“You can’t rush those kind of things back.”
