FC Clacton got back to winning ways thanks to a 3-1 victory at home to CRC.
Kevin Coyle lashed home a penalty to give his side an early advantage in last night's Ridgeons League premier division encounter at the Rush Green Bowl.
Dan Smith's long throw was flicked on by Joe Martin and fumbled into his own net by CRC goalkeeper Ryan Dunn.
Returning favourite Matt Waters then added the third soon after coming on as a substitute, steering home a low cross from the right by Lee Barrett.
CRC, who had a player sent off in the closing stages, pulled one back in the last few seconds.
The victory ended a run of three straight defeats for Clacton - two in the league and one in the Ridgeons League Cup.
Andy Taylor's men visit Wisbech on Saturday.
