CLACTON Golf Club's ladies competed in a high/low stableford competition over 13 holes.
In first place was the pairing of Kath Sinnott and Lorna Forder, with 48 points.
They won on countback from Heather Bradfield and Janine Wyman.
In third place, with 45 points, were Lin Euston and Lin Willson.
There were good scores in a 13-hole single stableford competition and Jackie Bright was victorious with 33 points.
Lin Euston was second with 32 and Sue Gurry third with 31.
Meanwhile, a special presentation took place at Clacton.
Last year's seniors' captain, John Kemp, managed to raise £3,000 for Cancer Research UK.
He is pictured holding the cheque during a presentation at the club.
Kemp has now handed over the seniors' captaincy to Rick Hale, for 2018.
