PETER Hewett had cause for celebration after winning two events at Clacton Golf Club.
First he won the men’s September Medal competition, with a nett score of 65.
In second was Nick Tedder-Ward, with nett 68, and in third was Colin Ross, with nett 69.
On Sunday the club staged their annual Past Captains Trophy.
Hewett won the competition last year and managed to hold onto the title again.
Meanwhile, Clacton's juniors won the Sainsbury Challenge Cup at Frinton.
