TALENTED duo Faye Trigg and Katy Yates won the prestigious Munro Foursomes competition at Stockbrook Manor.
The final was between Clacton Golf Club and Chelmsford.
Essex ladies' champion Trigg and Essex girls' champion Yates were the pair representing Clacton.
An exciting final was on the cards and the players did not disappoint, with some excellent golf played by both teams.
Meanwhile, Clacton held their Starling Salver competition.
The gentleman defeated the ladies by five matches to one.
A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all in very testing, windy conditions.
