THE Clacton Singles League season has drawn to a close and created not just one but three new champions.
It was the league's biggest-ever season, having now found residence at Pot Black, in Pier Avenue.
One hundred and 22 players competed across seven pool divisions and three snooker divisions.
Aidan Owens emerged as champion of the Pool Singles League, while Billy Kyle was crowned champion of the Snooker Singles League.
Shaun Storry, the runner-up in the Pool League, managed to go one better in the knockout event as he won the League Cup.
The Clacton Singles League is a snooker and pool competition open to all players of any ability.
It is played in a league format but players play as individuals rather than teams.
Entry is now open for next season, which starts in October and will include the addition of a new Nine-Ball Pool League.
