Stiff competition - Clacton held their adult/junior competition on Saturday
CLACTON Golf Club held their August monthly medal competition and Ben Usedon won division one with a fantastic nett 66.
In second place was Jake Wells, with nett 67, and in third was Gary Lee, with nett 69.
Barry Joyce won division two with an amazing nett 66.
He was followed by Martin Penalver, in second place, with nett 67 and Phil Green, in third, with nett 68.
Six pairs of Clacton ladies enjoyed serious competition with Harwich and Dovercourt before securing a 6½-5½ victory.
Clacton also held their adult/junior competition on Saturday.
In first place was Peter Wright and son Max Wright.
