CLACTON Golf Club hosted their St Helena Hospice Salver competition and the winner was Chris Revel, with a nett score of 64.
In second place was Craig Green, with nett 66, and in third was Phil Green, with nett 68.
Meanwhile, at a recent meeting of the club's past captains, a cheque for £500 was presented to Little Haven Children’s Hospice.
The money was raised on the Past Captains' Day, which was held as part of the club's 125-year celebrations in July and sponsored by Paul Cox of PMC Landscape Ltd.
Another £180 was raised later in the evening for the hospice.
