CANNONS 2006 Basketball Club celebrated a year of success at their annual presentation evening.
The event was attended by 115 people - players, parents, grandparents and friends - and director and head coach Chris Tight said the future looks bright for the coastal club, formerly known as Clacton Cannons.
Tight thanked the "Cannons family" for their support throughout and said: "This year, more than ever, we seem to be growing as a club, with the success of our under-11 and under-14 teams.
"It means the future is so bright for the senior team and I feel privileged to be coaching all the players, loving their individual personalities and characters, seeing them all grow together with individual skill levels rising and their team play develop."
Tight, who thanked the players' parents and grandparents for the support they give the club's coaches, added that eight Cannons players are now training at National League level with Essex Blades.
This means the club's youngsters have a clear and viable pathway to National League basketball.
