EIGHT youngsters from Clacton Judo Club attended an East Anglia invitation competition in Thetford.
Kasper Lesniewski, ten, returned home with a silver medal and there were bronzes for Logan Sprott, eight, Daragh Bucke, nine, and Jake Bucke, 12.
Also fighting in their first competition were Karl Lawrence, 12, who won a gold, and Oliver Ward, nine, who won a bronze.
Fighting in the older groups, 15-year-old Ella Willsmore gained a bronze, while 16-year-old Mitchell Maudlin won a silver.
