FC CLACTON completed back-to-back wins after sinking Swaffham Town 4-1.

Trailing at the break in this afternoon’s Thurlow Nunn League premier division contest, the Seasiders stormed back thanks to skipper Aaron Condon’s penalty and a close-range finish from Karl Andrade.

Substitute Jordan Brazitis added their third with a cool finish that went in off the left-hand post.

And Ben Parkin smashed home their fourth in the closing stages to seal a comprehensive victory.

Clacton’s first two goals came within six minutes of the restart and helped David Coyle’s side to their second straight win, following the remarkable 6-4 victory at Walsham-le-Willows.

First, just two minutes after the interval, Clacton were awarded a penalty for a clear trip on Andrade.

Skipper Condon stepped forward and confidently converted the penalty – his 21st goal of the season, in league and cup competitions.

Even better was to follow soon after when Condon skipped clear down the right and delivered a low cross that was turned in at the near post by Andrade.

Clacton keeper Joe Fowler made a fantastic save after his side were hit on the counter-attack.

Overall, though, the Seasiders were excellent value for their victory and duly added a third through Brazitis.

Played in on goal, he coolly picked his spot and fired in via the left-hand post – his first goal for Clacton.

Parkin then put the icing on the cake with a brilliant right-footed volleyed goal from the edge of the area in the closing stages.

It was quite a transformation as the hosts had found themselves behind at the end of a relatively uneventful first half.

Swaffham’s goal came seven minutes before the break and was a dreadful one from Clacton’s perspective.

After losing possession, they failed to deal with a long, hopeful ball forward.

Goalkeeper Fowler rushed out and failed to make contact, leaving Joe Jackson with the simple task of slotting into an unguarded net.

Prior to the goal, it looked like an even first half would finish goal-less.

Clacton’s best chances had fallen to Andrade and Louie Newland.

Both tried their luck with efforts that tested Swaffham keeper Dean Mayes.

Andrade’s was an angled shot from the left that was smothered at the near post.

Newland then struck a first-time effort that was unconvincingly turned behind for a corner.

Clacton’s best chance by far fell to Andrade, though.

Newland delivered a cross from deep on the right but the striker, unmarked in front of goal, headed over.

Coyle’s side now switch their attention to Friday’s trip to Felixstowe and Walton – the scene of their brilliant 4-0 League Cup victory back in October.
