STUDENTS took part in a successful grading at the Toyakwai Sho Shin Do club, in Clacton.
They are pictured on the right proudly displaying their certificates and wearing their new belts, alongside senior students and instructors.
Six-year-old Sam Fordham has been with the club for three months and achieved a very creditable ninth kyu red belt.
Marley Hayward and Jonathon Hardy have been training hard and both achieved eighth kyu orange belts.
Millie Seaman (not pictured) did a great job of overcoming her nerves to also achieve an eighth kyu orange belt.
Selbie Schofield (back row) passed her fifth mon grading and was awarded a well-deserved purple belt with white stripe.
All the students performed well and should be proud of their achievements.
The club train from 6pm until 7.30pm on Tuesdays and 5.30pm until 7pm on Fridays, at Clacton Leisure Centre.
New members and beginners are welcome.
