THERE were big wins for Vikings and Sokretez in the Clacton and District Sunday League.

Vikings beat Queens Arms 5-2, while Sokretez sunk Great Dynamos 8-2.

Vikings took the lead after 20 minutes, thanks to great work by John Mason, who played in Wes Rainford.

Queens Arms then equalised on the half-hour mark.

Vikings regained their lead when a floated free-kick by James Law was headed home by Blake Panrucker.

Ten minutes into the second half, Queens equalised again but Panrucker quickly restored Vikings’ lead.

Their fourth came from a quick counter-attack, finished by Jordan Georgiou.

And after more good football, Georgiou then got his second and Vikings’ fifth.

Queens Arms’ goal-scorers were Tom Johnson and Stephen Pridmore.

Sokretez’s scorers were Russell Mclean (four), Cameron Welsh (two), Tom Archer and Patt Olliffe.

The Coastal Rangers v Great Oakley match was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at Rush Green Road.
