CLACTON Bowls Club are celebrating another championship.
Their Tendring Hundred Ladies’ League B team won the division one title, while Clacton A were runners-up in division two.
The men’s Windsor League programme also finished last week.
Clacton A went into their last game leading the table, but a 10-0 home defeat against Happy Valley A opened the door for Wivenhoe to take the title.
Clacton B finished in eighth place.
The ladies’ triples team of Josie Lawrence, Felicity Bailey and Pat Wernham lost their Tendring Hundred League final to a Holland-on-Sea team.
In the County Hood Cup final, Clacton’s North Essex fours winners lost 19-15 to their South Essex opponents.
Clacton recently held their club finals.
Peter Halliday and Pat Wernham were the main winners, taking the men’s and ladies’ championship titles.
