BOXER Joe Hurn is a man on a mission – to continue his “dream start” to life on the professional circuit.

The Clacton light middleweight has won his first two fights by knockout and hopes for more of the same when he competes again at the end of the month.

The 29-year-old is up against Liam Griffiths on a rescheduled show at Norwich’s Mercy nightclub, on June 27.

“I got my pro licence at the start of the year and haven’t looked back since,” said the former Clacton County High School pupil.

“It’s been a dream start.

“My next opponent has more experience but I’ve got so much confidence in my ability and see it as an opportunity to get myself noticed.

“I want to build a name for myself and if I can do that, by winning fights and staying unbeaten, maybe I’ll get a shot at a title.”
