Frinton Cricket Club’s ladies’ team are on the hunt for new players.

The side are in their fifth season together and are looking to expand.

The team contains players of varied ages, ability and cricketing knowledge, so would welcome anyone willing to give it a go.

Captain Becky Plant said: “The club is a really sociable place to be, as well as being set in beautiful surroundings, and there’s always something going on.

“We have a great time together but would love to be able to have a few more join us, with the view of expanding the current selection.

“We’d welcome anyone of any level of ability.

“We have great coaches who dedicate a lot of time to training us and giving us the techniques and knowledge we need to be able to play confidently.”

The minimum age to play is 15.

Training is on a Friday evening, at Ashlyns Road, and games – a mixture of home or away – are usually on a Sunday morning.

Kit and equipment is provided.
