HOLLAND FC suffered their first Essex and Suffolk Border League defeat of the year on Tuesday night.
Rob Batten’s side lost 3-0 at the University of Essex.
It was their first premier division setback since December.
But the coastal club remain third in the table, a point ahead of Gas Recreation and four behind Little Oakley.
Holland host Coggeshall on Saturday, before finishing with another home game against champions West Bergholt on May 16.
